This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all readings, healing sessions, consultations and other appointment-based services booked with Your Sacred Assignment.

By making a booking and submitting payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy.

1. Payment and Booking Confirmation

Full payment may be required to secure your selected appointment date and time.

A booking is only considered confirmed once the required payment has been successfully received and you have received a booking confirmation.

 

2. No Refunds

All payments made to Your Sacred Assignment are non-refundable.

Refunds will not be provided where:

• You change your mind after making a booking.

• You cancel your appointment.

• You fail to attend your booked appointment.

• You arrive late and the full session cannot be completed.

• You do not use a credit, rescheduled booking or service within the applicable period.

• You are dissatisfied because the outcome of a spiritual or healing service differs from your personal expectations.

 

The services offered by Your Sacred Assignment are personal and appointment-based. Time is reserved specifically for each client, and preparation may take place before the scheduled session.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable South African consumer law.

 

3. Cancellations More Than 48 Hours Before the Appointment

You may cancel or request to reschedule your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

Because payments are non-refundable, the amount paid will be held as a booking credit that may be used to reschedule the same service to another available date and time.

 

The rescheduled appointment must be booked and used within [three/six] months of the original appointment date.

Only one free rescheduling request is permitted per booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

4. Cancellations Within 48 Hours

Cancellations or rescheduling requests received less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time will result in the full booking payment being forfeited.

No refund, credit or complimentary rescheduling will be provided for a late cancellation, except where required by applicable law or approved at the sole discretion of Your Sacred Assignment.

A new booking and payment will be required should you wish to schedule another appointment.

 

5. Missed Appointments

Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without providing notice will be treated as a missed appointment or “no-show.”

Missed appointments are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled or converted into a credit.

A new booking and full payment will be required.

 

6. Late Arrivals

Please ensure that you are available and ready at the confirmed appointment time.

Where you arrive or join the session late:

• The session may still end at the originally scheduled finishing time.

• The session fee will remain payable in full.

• Additional time cannot be guaranteed.

• A significantly late arrival may be treated as a missed appointment.

 

No refund or partial refund will be issued for time lost due to late arrival.

 

7. How to Cancel or Reschedule

Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing to:

Your request must include:

• Your full name.

• Your booking date and time.

• The service booked.

• Your preferred alternative dates, where applicable.

 

The request will only be considered received once it has been successfully delivered through one of the contact methods above.

The 48-hour notice period will be calculated from the time the written request is received.

 

8. Emergencies and Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances may occur.

Requests relating to serious illness, hospitalisation, bereavement or another unavoidable emergency may be considered individually. Supporting information may be requested where reasonable.

Any credit or rescheduling offered under exceptional circumstances will be at the discretion of Your Sacred Assignment and subject to applicable consumer law.

 

9. Cancellation by Your Sacred Assignment

In the unlikely event that Your Sacred Assignment must cancel or reschedule your appointment, you will be offered:

• A new appointment date and time;

• A credit for the full amount paid; or

• A refund where the service cannot reasonably be provided or an alternative arrangement cannot be agreed.

 

Your Sacred Assignment will not be responsible for indirect expenses or losses resulting from a cancelled appointment, including travel, accommodation, loss of income or other related costs, to the extent permitted by law.

 

10. Technical Difficulties

For online or virtual sessions, you are responsible for ensuring that you have:

• A stable internet connection.

• A suitable device.

• Access to the agreed communication platform.

• A quiet and appropriate environment for the session.

 

Technical problems on the client’s side will not automatically qualify for a refund.

Where a significant technical problem occurs on the side of Your Sacred Assignment and prevents the session from proceeding, the session will be rescheduled without an additional charge.

 

11. Nature of the Services

Readings, healing sessions and spiritual guidance are personal and subjective experiences.

No specific result, outcome or transformation is guaranteed. The services are not intended to replace medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice.

A difference in interpretation, expectation or personal experience does not qualify a booking for a refund.

 

12. Acceptance of This Policy

By completing a booking or making payment, you acknowledge that:

• You understand that all payments are non-refundable.

• You may cancel or reschedule free of charge when at least 48 hours’ written notice is provided.

• A cancellation made more than 48 hours in advance will result in a booking credit rather than a cash refund.

• Late cancellations and missed appointments may result in the full payment being forfeited.

• Rescheduled appointments remain subject to availability.
